ผู้สื่อข่าวได้รับแจ้งจากชาวบ้านว่า มีหญิงสาวคนหนึ่ง ในหมู่บ้านกลันทา ม.10 ต.กระสัง อ.เมือง จ.บุรีรัมย์
มีสภาพความเป็นอยู่ที่น่าเวทนาสงสาร พิการตาบอดทั้งสองข้างอาศัยอยู่ในเพิงสังกะสีที่มีสภาพเก่าผุพังเป็นที่ซุกหัวนอน ต้องเลี้ยงลูกวัยชายเพียง 1 ขวบเศษตามลำพัง เพราะสามีหนีไปบวชแล้วไม่ติดต่อกลับมาอีกเลย ปัจจุบันอาศัยเพียงเบี้ยคนพิการเดือนละ 800 บาท และบัตรสวัสดิการแห่งรัฐหรือบัตรคนจนเดือนละ 300บาท ซื้อข้าวสาร อาหารกินประทังชีวิต แต่ไม่เพียงพอต้องอดมื้อกินมื้อ
จากนั้นผู้สื่อข่าวจึงได้ลงพื้นที่ไปตรวจสอบตามที่ได้รับแจ้ง เมื่อไปถึงพบกับ น.ส.สุนิสา มุ่งรวยกลาง หรือยุ้ย อายุ 26 ปี สาวที่พิการตาบอดทั้งสองข้าง นั่งอุ้มลูกชายวัย 1 ขวบ 3 เดือนอยู่บริเวณเพิงเล็กๆที่ล้อมรอบด้วยสังกะสีเก่าผุพังและมุงด้วยสังกะสีที่ใช้สำหรับอยู่อาศัยกับลูก ข้างกันมีเพิงที่ล้อมรอบด้วยสังกะสีอีกหลังซึ่งเป็นที่อยู่อาศัยของแม่และพ่อเลี้ยง
น.ส.สุนิสา หรือยุ้ย เล่าว่า เมื่อประมาณปี 2554 ได้ไปทำงานโรงงานหลอมเหล็ก กับพ่อแม่ และสามี ที่ จ.ชลบุรี โดยตนเองทำหน้าที่โหลดเหล็กเข้าเตาหลอม แต่หลังจากทำได้แค่ 3 เดือนก็ต้องลาออกจากงานเพราะเริ่มมีอาการปวดหัวรุนแรง และแสบที่ดวงตา เชื่อว่าน่าจะเกิดจากผลข้างเคียงจากฝุ่นสนิมเหล็กเข้าตา หลังลาออกกลับมาอยู่บ้านสามีที่ อ.ชุมพวง จ.นครราชสีมา ได้ไม่นานตาเริ่มพล่ามัว จึงไปหาหมอที่ชุมพวง แต่หมอแนะนำว่าให้กลับมารักษาที่ จ.บุรีรัมย์ เพราะมีสิทธิ์รักษาที่ จ.บุรีรัมย์ จึงตัดสินใจกลับมาตามที่หมอแนะนำ
ช่วงแรกหมอบอกว่าจอประสาทตาหลุดลอกซึ่งช่วงนั้นตาทั้งสองข้างมองไม่เห็นแล้ว ต้องทำการผ่าตัด จึงทำเรื่องส่งตัวไปผ่าตัด ที่โรงพยาบาล จ.ขอนแก่น แต่หลังจากผ่าตัดยังมองไม่เห็นซึ่งหมอบอกว่าจอประสาทตาเสื่อม อาจทำให้พิการมองไม่เห็นจึงบอกให้ครอบครัวทำใจ แต่บอกให้มาทำการตรวจและรักษาต่อเนื่องเผื่อมีโอกาสหรือวิวัฒนาการใหม่ที่สามารถช่วยรักษาได้ แต่ด้วยฐานะที่ยากจนไม่มีค่าใช้จ่ายเดินทางไปรักษาได้อย่างต่อเนื่อง จึงต้องกลายเป็นคนพิการตาบอดทั้งสองข้างมาจนถึงทุกวันนี้เป็นเวลานานกว่า 7 ปีแล้ว
น.ส.สุนิสา ยังเล่าทั้งน้ำตาอีกว่า ช่วงที่ตนมองไม่เห็นก็มีแม่คอยดูแล และสามีทำงานรับจ้างหาเลี้ยง ส่วนตัวพยายามฝึกทำอะไรด้วยตัวเอง แต่พอมีลูกสามีก็เริ่มเครียดดื่มเหล้าบางวันมีเงินให้บ้างไม่ให้บ้าง กระทั่งต่อมาสามีบอกว่าจะไปบวช ซึ่งช่วงแรกยังโทรศัพท์ติดต่อหาลูกและส่งเงินค่านมมาให้ แต่ล่าสุดหายไปนานกว่า 3 เดือนแล้วไม่สามารถติดต่อได้เลย ทิ้งให้ตน ที่พิการตาบอดเลี้ยงลูกลำพัง
ปัจจุบันอาศัยเบี้ยคนพิการเดือนละ 800 บาท และบัตรสวัสดิการแห่งรัฐหรือบัตรคนจนเดือนละ 300 บาท ซื้อข้าวสาร อาหารมาประทังชีวิต แต่ก็ไม่เพียงพอเพราะต้องซื้อนม และอาหารเสริมให้ลูกกินด้วย ต้องอยู่อย่างยากลำบากอดมื้อกินมื้อ บางครั้งท้อถึงขั้นคิดสั้นอยากจะฆ่าตัวตายแต่ก็สงสารลูก หากมีผู้ใจบุญช่วยเหลือก็อยากให้ช่วยรักษาตาให้มองเห็น เพราะอยากเห็นหน้าลูก ทั้งอยากทำงานหาเลี้ยงตัวเองและลูกได้โดยไม่เป็นภาระคนอื่น
