นายบดินทร์ เรืองสุขศรีวงศ์ ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมท่องเที่ยวจังหวัดบุรีรัมย์ เปิดเผยว่า ภายหลังสิ้นสุดการจัดงาน “เทศกาลลูกชิ้นยืนกินชิงแชมป์โลก ครั้งที่ 5 ” ประจำปี 2565 ระว่างวันที่ 30-31 ก.ค.2565 ที่ผ่านมา ซึ่งทางจังหวัดบุรีรัมย์ ร่วมกับสำนักงานการท่องเที่ยวและกีฬาจังหวัดบุรีรัมย์ และอีกหลายหน่วยงาน จัดขึ้น ที่บริเวณโครงการบุรีรัมย์คาสเซิล หลังสนามช้างอารีน่า ต.อิสาณ อ.เมือง จ.บุรีรัมย์เพื่อเป็นการส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวในจังหวัดบุรีรัมย์ อนุรักษ์สืบสานวัฒนธรรมการกินลูกชิ้นของชาวบุรีรัมย์ที่มีมานานกว่า 50 ปี ที่มีเอกลักษณ์ไม่เหมือนใครคือการยืนกินที่หน้าร้าน และสร้างสรรค์กิจกรรมลูกชิ้นยืนกินให้เป็นจุดเด่น ที่สำคัญยังเป็นการประชาสัมพันธ์การท่องเที่ยวของจังหวัดบุรีรัมย์ และการกระจายรายได้ให้ผู้ประกอบการ พ่อค้าแม่ค้าขายลูกชิ้นยืนกิน และประชาชนในพื้นที่มีรายได้เพิ่มมากขึ้นอีกด้วย
ซึ่งการจัดงานมีกิจกรรมมากมาย ทั้งการแข่งขันกินลูกชิ้นยืนกินสุดโหด ของ คู่แฝด “โป้ง-ปั้น” แชมป์กินประเทศไทยสุดหล่อ โดนรุมกินโต๊ะกับ 1 สาวสวยสุดเซ็กซี่ดีกรีแชมป์กิน “น้องเบนซ์” พร้อมแท๊กทีมกับ 5 นักกิน , การแข่งขัน D U O Pretty Sexy ลูกชิ้นยืนกิน Contest สาวสวยสุดเซ็กซี่ จาก 8 ทีม 16 คน ที่แต่งกายสวยงาม เซ็กซี่ มาแข่งขันกินลูกชิ้น และการแข่งขันกินลูกชิ้นยืนกินชิงแชมป์โลก ทั้งรุ่นแชมป์โลก ไม่จำกัดเพศ และอายุ , รุ่นแชมป์โลกหญิง ไม่จำกัดอายุ และรุ่นแชมป์โลกทีม ไม่จำกัดเพศ ไม่จำกัดอายุ ทีมละ 3 คน
นอกจากนี้ ยังมีการค้นหาแชมป์สุดยอด “ร้านลูกชิ้นและร้านน้ำจิ้มลูกชิ้นยืนกินบุรีรัมย์ยอดเยี่ยมประจำปี ที่มีร้านลูกชิ้นยืนกินบุรีรัมย์จากทั่วทุกสารทิศ และร้านค้าจากชุมชนท่องเที่ยวพร้อมผู้สนับสนับสนุน กว่า 40 ร้านค้า มาให้ประชาชนและนักท่องเที่ยว ได้เลือกชิมลิ้มรสชาติ และเลือกซื้อไปรับประทานและเป็นของฝากกัน
นายบดินทร์ กล่าวต่อว่า ตลอดการจัดงานทั้ง 2 วัน ได้มีประชาชน และนักท่องเที่ยวทั้งในจังหวัดบุรีรัมย์ และจากต่างจังหวัด เดินทางมาเที่ยวชมงานกันอย่างคึกคัก ซึ่งถือว่าเป็นงานที่จัดขึ้นใน จ.บุรีรัมย์ เพียงแห่งเดียวในประเทศไทย ซึ่งมีเอกลักษณ์ที่โดดเด่นไม่เหมือนใคร ซึ่งนอกจากจะทำให้คนทั่วโลกได้รู้จักลูกชิ้นยืนกินของบุรีรัมย์มากขึ้นแล้ว ยังเป็นการสร้างรายได้ให้กับพ่อค้าแม่ค้า และธุรกิจลูกชิ้นในจังหวัดบุรีรัมย์ด้วย ซึ่งคาดการณ์ว่าตลอดการจัดงานทำให้มีเงินสะพัดในจังหวัดไม่น้อยกว่า 5 ล้านบาท
