เปาโล คอนราโด้ กองหน้าสโมสรบีจี ปทุม ยูไนเต็ด หวังมีฤดูกาลที่ดีกับต้นสังกัดใหม่ หลังฝันค้าแข้งในไทยลีก 1 มานานนับตั้งแต่ย้านมาเล่นในไทยครั้งแรกเมื่อปี 2019
แข้งวัย 30 ปี ย้ายมาเล่นฟุตบอลอาชีพในเมืองไทยครั้งแรกเมื่อปี 2019 กับ ขอนแก่น ยูไนเต็ด และช่วยทีมเลื่อนชั้นจากไทยลีก 3 สู่ไทยลีก 2 และต่อมายัง ไทยลีก 1 อีกทั้งยังคว้ารางวัลดาวซัลโวศึก ไทยลีก 2 ฤดูกาล 2020-21 ไปครองด้วยผลงาน 26 ประตู ก่อนตกเป็นเป้าของหลายสโมสรบนลีกสูงสุด แต่ตัดสินใจค้าแข้งในลีกรองต่อกับ ตราด เอฟซี พร้อมโชว์ฟอร์มร้อนแรงต่อเนื่องด้วยการยิง 17 ประตู พาทีมจบอันดับโซนเพลย์ออฟลุ้นเลื่อนชั้น กระทั่งย้ายมาเล่นบนลีกสูงสุดกับ เดะ แรบบิท ในฤดูกาลนี้
“เรามีการเตรียมทีมที่ยอดเยี่ยม และผมรู้สึกกระหายที่จะลงเล่น เรามีนักเตะที่ดีและที่นี่ไม่มีการเหยาะแหยะแม้แต่น้อย เราฝึกซ้อมกันอย่างหนักเพื่อชัยชนะ สโมสรนี้ไม่ชอบความพ่ายแพ้ และผมเองก็เช่นกัน”
คอนราโด้ ได้อธิบายถึงความต่างระหว่าง ไทยลีก 1 และ ไทยลีก 2 ว่า “ฟุตบอล T1 และ T2 แตกต่างกันแน่นอน โดยเฉพาะด้านความกดดัน บน T1 เราต้องมีสมาธิมากกว่า ซึ่งนี่คือความท้าทายอย่างหนึ่ง อย่างไรก็ดี เรามีทีมที่ยอดเยี่ยม ทุกคนมีคุณภาพและเล่นด้วยกันมานาน พวกเขาคอยช่วยเหลือผม”

Conrado explained the difference between Thai League 1 and Thai League 2, saying, “Football T1 and T2 are definitely different. Especially on the pressure side, on T1 we have to concentrate more. This is a challenge, however, we have a great team. Everyone has quality and play together for a long time. They help me.”
