ภูบักได ตั้งอยู่ในอำเภอภูเรือ อยู่ในเขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าภูหลวง มีอาณาเขต ติดต่อกันทั้งหมดสามตำบลของอำเภอภูเรือ คือ ตำบลสานตม ตำบลท่าศาลา และตำบลปลาบ่า ส้นทางที่จะแนะนำวันนี้คือ คือเส้นทาง บ้านกลาง ตำบลปลาบ่า เดินทางจากภูเรือไปทางเกษตรที่สูง ผ่านน้ำตกปลาบ่า น้ำตกสองคอน ระยะทางประมาณ 20ก.ม. จากตัวอำเภอภูเรือ เมื่อถึงบ้านกลางเลี้ยวซ้ายตรงไป ติดต่อกับทางชมรมนำเที่ยวภูบักได โดยชุมชน ที่ทำการอยู่บ้านกำนันเชิด หรือหน้าวัดบ้านกลาง
